2008 brachte Miley ihr erstes Studienalbum in den Handel.
Sie hatte sich Sorgen gemacht, dass es floppen wird, doch ihre Angste waren, denn es war in den USA auf Platz 1.

"See you again" war auf Platz 10, "7 Things" auf Platz 9, "Breakout" auf Platz 56 und
"Fly on the wall" erreichte Platz 84.
